Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, is a beautiful and scenic city that balances modern high-rise buildings with lush green natural scenery. If you are a tourist visiting Kuala Lumpur, there are many places of interests that can you visit.

The two most important tourist spots are the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower. These two buildings are Malaysia’s pride and joy, being two of the tallest buildings in the world. For those who prefer to visit places of historical value, the National Museum and the National Monument are the perfect choice. The National Museum houses hundreds of exhibits on the rich historical and cultural heritage of Malaysia.

Meanwhile, the National Monument, a great piece of sculpture, commemorates the warriors who died for the country on its fight against the communists. Tourists who would like to see places of worship are recommended to go to the Wilayah Mosque, Batu Caves and Chan See Shu Yuen Temple, three of the most beautiful places of worship for the three main religions in Malaysia which are Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism.

Finally, for a spot of shopping, the Central Market and KLCC are a must for any tourist. For those who prefer to visit flea markets rather than shopping complexes, go to the Chinatown and Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman for various local items at great bargains.

With all these great places of interest to visit, it is guaranteed that any tourist will have an enjoyable and memorable time in Kuala Lumpur.
