1. This type of essay tests your ability to interpret the notes given in order to write a logical and coherent composition. You may be given short notes or a series of pictures with short notes.
2. Study the pictures and/or notes given before you begin writing. Make sure you understand the notes and what you are required to do. Pay attention to important details.
3. Add relevant points and details before linking them up in paragraphs.
4. Organise your ideas and put them down under introduction, body and conclusion. Make sure they are logical and in sequence according to the short notes provided.
5. Use specific verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs as well as relevant words.
6. Make sure all the points given are used and expanded.
7. Once you have finished writing, do a thorough spell check and rectify any grammatical errors.
